Travel Clinic

Our Practice Nurse is available for travel advice and all immunisations. For patients intending to travel in GAP year, please see Nurse 3-6 months before intended date of travel. The Practice is a designated Centre for Yellow Fever vaccination.

Phlebotomist

A Phlebotomist comes to the surgery each Wednesday and Saturday morning for all routine blood tests – by appointment.

Maternity Care

All doctors provide full ante-natal and post-natal care with the assistance of the community midwife. The clinic is held on Wednesdays between 10:00 and 12:00 by appointment.

Child Immunisations

Our practice nurse holds a baby immunisation clinic on Wednesday mornings by appointment. Click here for details of the recommended schedule.

Adult Vaccinations

Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio is now one combined injection.

Tetanus – adults: A full course – three injections over six months for those not previously immunised, followed by a booster every ten years. Maximum of five doses in a lifetime.

Polio: A full course – three doses over six months for those not previously immunised and for those exposed to a continuing risk of infection i.e. foreign travel, a booster every ten years.
